On Friday, November 1, we will celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints. Masses that day will be:
8:00 am (English)
10:45 am (English with the School)
6:00 pm (Spanish).
All who are able are encouraged to participate in Mass that day, when we remember the many, many nameless believers of all time who share the banquet of heaven.
Saturday, November 2, is the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (“All Souls Day”). On this day, we remember all who have gone to the Lord, “marked with the sign of faith.” While there is no obligation to participate in Mass this day, it is highly commendable that we gather to pray for all who have died. Masses that day will be
8:00 am (bilingual English/Spanish)
10:00 am (English).
During the month of November, the Book of the Names of the Dead will be placed next to the Easter Candle, near the sanctuary, so that you may include in that book the names of those you would like to be remembered in the prayers of the parish throughout the month. We will also make envelopes available for you to include the names of your beloved dead.
