VENDORS WANTED
The 2018 Festival is looking for some good vendors to be a part of our celebration. If you have a small business or know others who might benefit from presentation at our Festival, please have them contact the Rectory Office. Space is very limited. The cost is a flat $150 for all three days. Unfortunately, we cannot accept vendors selling food (even packaged food). Please contact the Rectory Office with questions.
GENERAL DONATIONS & RAFFLE
You will be getting a letter soon for general donations to the Festival and also some Raffle Tickets. Through the generous donation from Gary Gillmor, we are able to have our General Raffle with prices set at $1,000 and $500 and $250. Be sure to buy some tickets today. It is just $10 per pack of 10 tickets. The success of the Festival is very much dependent upon your generosity.
SILENT AUCTION DONATIONS
In a little over a month, we will be welcoming all the parishioners and visitors to our annual St. Clare Festival. One of the most exciting and rewarding activities we offer is the Silent Auction. Guests will have an opportunity to bid on a variety of exciting, unique, practical and fun baskets that we hope will please everyone’s taste.
Here are just 4 ways you can help to make auction a success:
1. Make a Basket:
You or your group can create a complete basket to donate. Some popular themes are: pet baskets, gourmet baskets, movie nights, culture-specific baskets, crafts, stock-your-bar baskets…..let your imagination go!
2. Donate New or Vintage Items; and the Committee will create a basket:
Think about recycling your last Xmas or Birthday gifts that won’t be used (Shh, we won’t tell);
And consider letting us display your grandmother’s still-lovely, vintage-worthy collectibles.
3. Gift Cards:
Want to point some friends to your favorite venues; a restaurant, a carwash, a theatre, a service or a store? Do so with gift card donations and purchase the cards from the St. Clare’s school gift card program. The gift card costs the same to you, but St. Clare School receives a percentage, it’s a win-win for everyone. What a deal!
And finally…..
4. Donate Funds:
If you don’t have the time to make a basket, or have items to donate, consider donating funds and the Silent Auction team will craft a basket, indicating the donors involved. EASY!
Please bring your donation to the Parish Office and be sure to fill out the Donation Slip available in the office. Additionally, let the office know if you would like to have pick-up from your home or business – No Problem!
Thank you!
