Faith and Racial Justice: Changing Systems and Structures
JustFaith Ministries offers an eight-session program in which we will learn about key obstacles to racial justice embedded within our institutions, systems, and structures. Racist systems and structures are inextricably bound to the problem of hunger and malnutrition. This program begins with a Racial Wealth Gap Simulation created by Bread for the World and NETWORK, a lobby for Catholic Social Justice, to help communities get to the heart of the problem. As we participate in this simulation, we not only acquaint ourselves with the big ideas, but we will be introduced to a took to bring to our own church and community. Three books are used during this program.
Schedule
Sessions begin September 9th through December 16th. We will meet every other Monday, from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm.

A tax-deductible donation is requested of $35, $55, $75 per person. The approximate cost for books is $38, available through JustFaith Ministries and may be found at book stores, libraries, or online. Scholarships are available upon request.
